What font are you?

Just for fun, check out the following link: "What font are you?" and take the quiz — it's fairly painless. The site is affiliated with Independent Lens produced by PBS.

The quiz of ten questions is longer than some of the similar quizzes I've seen. In addition, the website has general things to say about typography.

Please comment about what your font is … I happen to be Times New Roman, however, I anticipated Helvetica.

  1. After taking the Facebook version of this quiz, I was hoping to avoid being Comic Sans this time around. Now, unfortunately, I rate as Edwardian Script -- not the Mrs. Eaves I was expecting. Maybe I need to start thinking about a personality change...

  2. "You are Courier"

    - I think this has something to do with the fact that I chose "An Inconvenient Truth" on the movie page, not because I like it, but because it was the last one on the list. So...I'm not sure how I feel about this.

At least it wasn't Comic Sans!

I'm going to try and retake it to see if I can get Helvetica.

  3. Helvetica. Darn. Sorry Professor Versluis. I wasn't trying to - I swear. I pet the kitty.

  4. Also Helvetica.

I wonder what font you get if you select all the "cat fanatic" answers?

  10. Thanks Rob for checking the blog. I'm very happy to have our wonderful Dordt alumni connecting. Ditto for Sarah too as she was the first one to leave a comment to this post.

I like the name 'biergarten' although blackletter is a little old it's still constructed geometrically.

  11. I am Helvetica.

This quiz was way better then the one I took on Facebook, although I was Myriad Pro on that one which is similar to Helvetica...

...I hope I'm not that boring.
